Introducing The Fox Den, a recent triumph for Stellen Design, where we channeled the vibrant spirit of the 1970s to create an upscale cocktail bar experience unlike anything else in the Redondo Beach Riviera. This wasn’t just another bar; it was a carefully curated destination designed to become the neighborhood’s go-to spot for sophisticated drinks.
South Redondo Beach boasts a lively hospitality scene, with numerous establishments offering drinks. However, the landscape presented a unique challenge for The Fox Den. While many local bars served food alongside their beverages, and others existed, none quite captured the elevated, cocktail-centric experience our client envisioned. This new concept needed to carve out its niche and attract a discerning local clientele seeking a refined pre-dinner or post-dinner drink destination. The key question was: how do we establish a distinct brand identity that resonates with the neighborhood while positioning The Fox Den as a premium bar branding success story?
Stellen Design developed a targeted brand strategy for The Fox Den, understanding the local Redondo market. We collaborated closely with the interior designer to align brand colors with the 70s aesthetic. Our work included crafting a distinctive logo, selecting sophisticated but retro fonts, and designing an Instagram-worthy, cocktail menu encouraging social sharing and generating buzz. To create a memorable entrance, we also designed a playful martini-sipping fox graphic for a building mural, establishing the bar’s unique identity.
The Fox Den has quickly become a resounding success.
